Episode 21. Erika on ‘not’ social media

Most of the time I think there is a place for social media in your marketing mix, but I will rarely encourage anyone to just focus on it. Having a healthy spread of promotional and marketing activity allows you to reach a broader audience and mitigate any potential disasters.

In this episode I talk about three ways to promote your small town business or brand that complement your social media activity and help you to build strong connections with your local community and local markets.

Connections that will strengthen your brand reputation and allow you to leverage that into other markets and geographical areas.

I’ve picked three non-social marketing methods for this episode, but you can go back over previous episodes to get tips on other methods and media too. I also list 20 other ways to advertise or promote your business or brand offline and through other electronic channels.

I hope you get some good thought starters!
